Smart Computing Laboratory

Our research interests include multimedia data mining, bioinformatics, pattern recognition, semantic web, e-learning, collaborative product development, image processing and big data analysis. The main direction of research is to support intelligent computing in many applications such as multimedia information retrieval, e-health and social web by employing techniques of data mining and machine learning. Currently, our group is conducting several projects including brain signal analysis, biosignal analysis and image processing applications on mobile devices.

We successfully completed many projects such as sign mage recognition, wine label recognition, music score recognition and EEG and fMRI data analysis. We are also interested in education using computers, semantic web, social networks and analysis of a big data set using Deep Learning and Big Data Platform.
